Biography

When Mario Kempes and his company lifted the World cup in 1978, it was also an eventful year when I was born. The date was roughly 16 January (hint!hint!), after much difficulties encountered by my mum. So Eng Hui is the name and Don is given by myself 'coz of plain laziness.......hehehe...

Thanks god! I have led a relatively smooth life without any major setbacks. Even, there are occasion hiccups nd I really thankful for those who have guided me and lent their helping hands.

6 years of uneventful life in Holy Innocents' Primary School, follow by my in famous stay in Beatty Secondary School during my adolescene period. I think this is one of the most important stage in life where I truly start to behave as an individual and character started to develop.

After 'O'Level, I was posted to  Nanyang Junior College.Lots of fun and agony there but I was coping well nonetheless. It was a place where our young minds were carefully nurtured and compare to others colleges, I think this is the least stressful one and I have a wonderful stay in NYJC.
I managed to scraped through my 'A' Level and following this, is 2 and 1/2 years mandatory National Service which I am still serving right now. 19 February was a sad day in which I gave up my  pink IC for a green one. Through I put a brave front, I am really feeling a wrench in my heart.

So I learned how to adapt, how to liveand how to tolerate in a big group of people. At first,   there were lot of problems like occasion skirmishs between bunk mates and people getting ill easily. But to round up, BMT is one of the most enjoyable stage in my Army term. And time really files in Nee Soon and after BMT, I am feel I ama better person in term of fitness and character-building.

I was posted to 2 places ( one was an Air Base as air crewman in helicoper and the other was an Air artillery camp ) before I finally settled down in my present unit which is a Signal battalion.

Methink, I have gone through enough in this unit. Enough of regrimental duties, fatigue works, odd jobs, local and oversea exercises (Two in Taiwan and the other in Australia). Deservingly,me should have better privilege and respect but I not getting any of them right now which are very disturbing..
Another lease of my life awaiting me in NTU, hopefully i will have a more fullfilling life ahead.
Ciao, friends.
